Our little girl is one month old...

Well, it's been over a month now since our baby girl arrived into our world. It has been a whirlwind of events. It all began with me going into labor at 1 am on Monday, April 19. And from there to a couple of sleepless nights at the hospital, until we were released to go home on the Wednesday afternoon. During rush hour traffic of course. But it was an amazing feeling, to finally be home with our Katelyn. When everyone advised me that I would not be getting any sleep, I guess I didn't really understand what that really meant. After no sleep at the hospital, there were more sleepless nights at home.

My boss had dropped by last week to visit, and he gave us this card along with the gift. And it couldn't be more perfect to explain our last month.

Breastfeeding was definitely not what I expected, and more work than I thought. Sometimes I think, formula would be better (alot easier), but since I was allergic to milk as a baby, chances are she might be too.  But its been almost 5 weeks now, so I'm just taking it one day at a time.

I am apologizing now to everyone, that I haven't been able to keep up with my emails and of course, returning phone calls. Most cases, where I have some time for myself, I opt to sleep since I know I may not get any in the near future :)

Hopefully, I'll have more time for more posts too!
