We are finally back from our annual family beach/anniversary vacation. We are still jet lagged and working on the laundry. But almost done. We were real happy to finally go away on vacation. It was a great vacation but a totally new experience. Travelling with an infant can be very trying at times and the packing. Let's just say it felt like we packed for a month long vacation instead of a week. Although the parents and in laws had packed a lot too! The shuttle buses were surprised with all the luggage but there were 8 of us travelling together. Trekking to the terminals, gates was a little tougher with all the extra baggage. We had the car seat, stroller, diaper bags plus our carry ons and luggage. We did it! And we have the tans to show for it :)

Welcome back! Sounds like you and your family had a great (but tiring) time.
After going to Cali and realizing that me, Mike and my stepdad all have not been to Hawaii, we talked about going with my mom one day in the future. Mike and I can stop by San Jose for a couple of days, go to Hawaii with my mom and stepdad and then stay a couple more days in SJ before coming back home. It would be like a two week vacay!
Yes, we did have a great time and I think we finally recuperated.
You should definitely make the trip out, I'm sure Mike will love it! We were able to go to North Shore and watch the Triple Crown Surf Competition. An item off both our bucket lists!
I've been wanting to go back to Cali. I am currently looking for deals. The last time I went it was $150 round trip. Not sure if I'll be able to find anything like that right now though. But I'm keeping my eyes open..
