Getting on the bus with Katelyn and hubby and my sis and her family at the African Lion Safari. It was a hot day so it was perfect to be in an air conditioned bus to tour the grounds and see the animals. My niece and nephew were so excited. Poor Katelyn just wanted her bottle.
Katelyn really walking!!! More than just a step. She's already a pro :) You couldn't keep her still in the water park with her cousins at the African Lion Safari.
Going to the Beaches in the city for the first time. Me and my hubby were so dumbfounded that it existed and that we never came out to see it.
Shakespeare play in High Park. Enjoying a yummy picnic with N & R. Glad we got to spend more time with them before they left on their trip.
My parents coming up to visit us. Always great to spend time with them. Reminds me how much I miss them and wish they lived closer.
Getting a free tomato plant at the Living Green Toronto Festival. I was really happy to get it, since I hit the garden centres too late in the season to buy some for our garden.
A relaxing long weekend.
Going on a Field trip to Cooksville Greens Farm and meeting the farmer David and buying fresh produce. Afterwards, making an amazing salad with the sprouts and heirloom cherry tomatoes.
