Classes start

So I have decided to go back to school and classes start today. I have a few more courses to complete before getting  my diploma so I'm almost there. I can't believe it's been  two years when I decided to go back to school. This diploma was something for me, that I wanted to learn to share with my existing and future family. It was something totally outside of my career, and unfortunately because of that work wouldn't compensate for the courses. I wasn't quite sure what it would mean when I completed the program but it was okay. My hubby was totally supportive when I made the decision and still is.

I had to have a break during my pregnancy because I just couldn't stay awake during the night classes after a full day of work. And I'm glad I did and I was able to rest before the total change in our lives.

All the same feelings are rushing back about the first day of school but now there are new ones that are added to the mix. Kate will be home alone with her daddy which she has been before but it will be different somehow. Instead of wondering how my daughter is at home, I will have to try to concentrate and listen to the teacher's lecture. I know I'll be missing her the whole time but it will be a nice change to some spend time with other health conscious folks ;)

Wish me luck!

Yay! Good luck. You are doing a great thing by going back to school and learning about something you are passionate about. What are you wearing on your first day of school?

Thanks hon! It was great being back. And it was funny, I couldn't decide on an outfit. I think I changed two or three times :) I ended up wearing a tee, capri and flip flops. And a sweater since it always gets cold in the room.

Good for you for going back to school (especially in something that's not in the field you are already in). Most people have difficulty taking that leap to do something that they love. Good luck!

Your hubby is awesome for being supportive.
