Well it's an end to another weekend. We had a great and very busy weekend. Katelyn spent alot of time travelling in her car seat but she was able to see alot and meet new friends.
On Saturday morning since the other two were sleeping in. I was able to do some baking. From our last visit to the grandparents we came home with a bag of apples and blueberries. My parents had gone apple and blueberry picking with our niece and nephew. So I made some blueberry pancakes for breakfast and blueberry muffins to bring along for our visit that day. It was great to play around in the kitchen again and hopefully I'll get more chances to do so.
Later on in the morning, we ran around doing a couple of errands before hitting the road to go visit our friends. We hit the local mall where a David's tea had just opened. Friday actually and I was really excited to go and bring hubby along. Since fall was fast approaching I wanted some teas with flavours that reminded me of spicy and warm treats. Hubby enjoyed his experience and walked out with some tea to go. The sales staff were really helpful and we ended up buying a couple of yummy teas. They included Organic Cafe Mocha, Forever Nuts, and Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble.

Afterwards, we headed off to go visit Baby Hannah, and can we say she is absolutely beautiful. Not biased at all :) We had a great day hanging out with her, her parents and the rest of the family that came over to visit.
On Sunday, we traveled towards the other direction for Katelyn's cousin, Nilene's baptismal. The church was older and had beautiful wood ceilings and stained glass windows. Since there was a time gap between the ceremony and the ceremony we hit Ikea. It was fun to walk around and there was lots for Katelyn to see. It was busy since it was the weekend. The dinner was really good and there was more than enough to eat. You can't but help to overindulge at a buffet.
After all the excitement from the weekend, we hard a hard time for her to settle down last night. I guess she just wasn't tired even after her bath and some reading. So to burn off some of that energy she ended up in her Jolly Jumper where she danced the night away. We figured since it was her 5 month birthday it was okay.
Now off to enjoy the rest of my tea and banana cake. Hope you are all enjoying your Monday.
Happy 5 months baby!

Bye for now.
